For a more informal wedding reception cocktail style finger food is a good choice. With guests not contained to tables they are free to roam and mingle while at the same time being served exquisite bite sized finger food from our attentive staff. Every piece of finger food is hand made with great care and attention to detail. Platters will also be made available to your guests to graze upon, a perfect compliment to the finger food that is served.

The following finger food menu options are available (the volume of food is very generous and will be adjusted to suit different guest numbers):

 

Premium Cocktail Menu - Choose one platter, four hot and four cold finger food and two dessert items

$61 per person

 

Deluxe Cocktail Menu - Choose two platters, six hot and six cold finger food and two dessert items

$70 per person

 

Hot Selection:

  • Curried chicken, potato and pea samosa
  • Lamb, sweet potato and cashew empanada's
  • Chicken, leek, basil and ricotta tarts
  • Salami, bocconcini and pesto mini calzone
  • Potato rosti's topped with creme fraiche, smoked salmon, capers and dill
  • Chicken tikka skewers
  • Spicy lamb and pine nut filos
  • Caramelized onion, thyme and goats cheese pastry puffs
  • Tarragon and lime scallops in prosciutto
  • Chilli, lime and coconut tempura king prawns
  • Lamb kofta kebab
  • Salami, olive and sun dried tomato pastries

 

Cold Selection:

  • Roasted capsicum, pesto and goats cheese bruschetta
  • Smoked trout, dill, rocket creme fraiche tortilla pinwheels
  • Profiteroles with avocado mousse and smoked salmon
  • Vietnamese chicken rice paper rolls
  • Turkey, brie and cranberry on rye
  • Prosciutto, bocconcini, tomato and basil skewers
  • Prawn avocado and sun dried tomato aioli toasts
  • Oyster shooters in spoons
  • California rolls with seasonal fillings
  • Peking duck wraps
  • Rare roast beef, caramelized onion and goats cheese on mustard toasties
  • Lamb and eggplant relish tarts

 

Dessert Selection:

  • Kahluha chocolate coconut truffles
  • Mini chocolate cherry fudge cakes
  • Profiteroles filled with passionfruit mousse and white chocolate ganache
  • Mini matchsticks filled with mascapone, raspberries and topped with raspberry icing
  • Baked lemon cheesecake with lemon curd and blueberries

 

Platters:

  • Antipasto - a selection of grilled and marinated vegetables, cured meats, cheese, dips and fruit
  • Dips - a trio of house made dips including hommus, beetroot and smoked salmon served with grilled Turkish pide
  • Cheese and fruit - a variety of cheeses from the Gippsland region including Tarrago River Blue, Brie and smoked cheddar served with Maggie Beer quince paste and drie
